If you're looking for a lovely and romantic place, don't mind in an alfresco setting, (notwithstanding the hot weather in Singapore), Pool Grill @Marriott Hotel definitely is the ultimate poolside luxury for you. Enjoy a relaxing brunch, lunch or dinner with their resort style background music...They have a big and strong ceiling fan, so you will not feel that warm after some time.

Strawberry Mint Lemonade

I think this will be a popular drink for the ladies! A refreshing fruity, sweet and tangy drink to sip on during a hot day. Love it!

Complimentary warm Foccacia bread to kick off the meal! 

Norwegian Salmon ($32++)

A generous, thick steak of norwegian served with hierloom tomato sauce vierge. Salmon skin was seared crisp and cooked to medium. Lightly flavoured so you can taste the freshness of the salmon itself. A little bland for me personally, but otherwise fresh and succulent.

Pan-Fried Cod Fish ($36++)

This was Da Bomb! I can tell you this was really the BEST Cod Fish that I had so far. The exterior was fried to perfection, extremely crisp, yet the meat remained tender and juicy. The texture was the perfect consistency. The natural sweetness of the cod went so well with the buttery shiraz reduction sauce. Just heavenly...This was too good that the staff told me they only left with the last piece that evening so I asked the staff to quickly key in this order immediately for me! Kiasu me.. Haha.. So happy that I managed to try this! :)

Dessert: Chocolate Tart, Salted Caramel, White Coffee Ice-Cream

As their popular desserts like Bombe Alaska and Banoffee were not available that day, so I decided to try their chocolate tart.  I like the crunchy biscuit base with the chocolate tart but the chocolate was a tad too solid. The white coffee ice-cream was very light. Overall still quite nice when you have it together with the biscuit crumbs aside!

Overall Impression: Service here was polite and good! I was very satisfied with the high quality food and dessert here! Ambience was very relaxing as the songs that they played here were soothing resort style music. Prices are quite steep for ala carte order. Go for their set lunch or set dinner with a smaller portion but affordable prices if you have a budget. This place is great for special occasions (Provided you don't mind it's non-aircon) Otherwise come here for their cocktails!

Visited on 12 March 2016 (Sat). Bought the high tea dining voucher at Movenpick Heritage Hotel from Groupon. The high tea creations are by the award-winning Pastry chef - Edwin Leow. (He was awarded Best Sugar Showpiece and the second runner-up at the Singapore Pastry Cup 2015.)

Very beautifully crafted rose shape Orange Chocolate Chip cupcake, it was aromatic with light orange taste..

I love this open-faced prawn with mayonnaise on the crunchy baguette!

They have really nice, crunchy and aromatic buttery taste of warm scones!

The staff will come and ask for your ice-cream selection. 3 choices to choose from: Chocolate, Strawberry or Vanilla. 

Overall Impression: Do note that they have 2 seatings which I was not being informed. Service was not bad. Once we were seated, they will quickly serve us coffee or tea. The high tea items were mostly decent except a few were really good. For this price of $45 Nett for 2 people includes free flow of coffee or TWG tea + a single scoop of movenpick ice-cream is really a steal especially in Sentosa hotel. Ambience was relaxing too. As this is a very popular dining deal, try to make reservation at least 2 weeks - 1 Month in advance.

Dancing Crab is one of the ventures by the TungLok group that serves country-style Cajun seafood.  New Orleans, Louisiana is known for its happy atmosphere, lively music, and high spirits, so you will find this place very fun-loving and not at all boring. Dancing Crab sources its shellfish from the same vendors used by group's best seafood restaurants, offering a wide range, from Boston lobster to Dungeness crab.

As you walk inside the restaurant, you will see a delightful mess on each table. This is definitely a great place to eat, drink, and be merry!

Ultraviolet Berry Lemonade ($4.50++)

When the staff served the drink, it was in blue colour. After they pour something in, it changes to this violet colour!

We were seated at the upper deck and they have tables at the lower deck too, if you want to have more privacy and window seat with a sea view!

They will provide you with a disposal apron! But still.. try not to wear white!

Waffles & Strawberry Ice-Cream ($7.00++)

Very nice presentation but their waffles were way too over crispy, to the extent of being hard to cut even with the knife or fork. 

  Combo Bag #01 ($88++)

I like the way they placed a big plastic cover on each table and the staff will pour everything on the table, and we just eat like this with our bare hands. We chose Combo Bag #01 that consists of 1 Sri Lankan crab, 300g Prawns, 250g clams, Potatoes, Corn & Sausages with a choice of their signature sauce - Beurre Blanc (A creamy sauce made with butter, onions, and vinegar or lemon juice) (Extra Sauce at $2.00 per saucebowl) I really love their clams and crab so much, especially the clams; they were so fresh and juicy! Dip with the sauce and it will just make you go WOW... This sauce will really blow you away!!! The price is a little steep but you will not regret it. Plus, it's really shiok to eat with your bare hands right off the tabletop!

Alaskan King Crab Legs (Min 250g) ($13++ per 100g)

This is the quantity for the 250g. I thought it was quite funny to have the seafood served in a big wok, but it was something different. Everyone should appreciate a little creativity, isn't it? We chose the Zesty Garlic Butter sauce for this. The sauce was a little tangy with aromatic garlic and butter taste. I was not used to the sourness initially, but I started to love this sauce gradually.. My first time having king crab legs with this kind of special sauce and I truly enjoyed it to the max!!

Their Signature - Dungeness Crab (Seasonal Price)

When we checked with the staff, the smallest dungenss crab is at 1.3kg which cost $156!!! Omg.. but since with the Amex Platinum card, we're entitled to 50% off for two pax. So we decided to try this expensive crab. True enough, it was really full of succulent crab meat which is why it is so costly, but we eat until very shiok!  You can choose one of the sauce provided. I personally still preferred Beurre Blanc sauce (Creamy Butter Sauce)

Popular: Flaming Moonshine Tiger Prawns 

(Min 500g, $8++ per 100g)

The chef will pour the alcohol onto the prawns to enhance the taste!

And here are the 500g of yummy flaming tiger prawns with alcohol taste at $40++! This is a popular item at Dancing Crab! Must-Try!

Served with Wasabi Katsuo Sauce, Sweet Wine Chilli Sauce and Lemon Pickled Chilli Sauce

White Clams (Min 250g, $2.50 per 100g)

This is the quantity for 250g at $6.25++. You can order more if you find these too little. The clams at Dancing Crab were very different, extremely succulent and big clam meat! Complemented so well with the Beurre Blanc (Creamy Butter) sauce! Yummy!!!

Grilled Butter Roll ($2++ per piece)

This is a HOT Favourite item! I can tell you this is the BEST BEST BEST grilled butter roll! Very crunchy with extremely fragrant butter taste! I really wish to eat 10 pieces if my stomach can fit in! Hahaha.. Order as many as you can!

There were 2 types of HOT sauces on each table for the super spicy lovers. Warning: The Sriracha chili sauce is VERY spicy!

Overall Impression: This place is usually full-house during weekends but I can see they're trying their very BEST to provide good service to everyone. As it was my first time trying dancing crab, I asked quite a few questions before placing my order. But the staff still managed to answer all my queries patiently. There were 3 tables having birthday celebrations on that night and in order to surprise them, the restaurant will suddenly change the music to "Get The Party Started" by Pink! And a few staff will then clap their hands while bringing the cake over to that table with the lively music. This made some of the other diners in the restaurant including myself,  clapping hands together and it just made the whole atmosphere really enjoyable!

The only gripe that day was the waiting time for the coffee and dessert which was really very long. My observation: They served seafood much faster than other stuff. Food quality definitely did not disappoint us, very fantastic!!! I was so lucky to see an ex-mediacorp male artise and a current mediacorp female artise at different tables on that day. Maybe you can try your luck at this place too if you're a fan of mediacorp artises. Haha!! This place is really popular for friends and family gatherings! :)
