Nowadays very hard to find High Tea in buffet style..
I think this place has the most "High Tea Feel Ambience" compared to other places!
One of the BEST place to have a heart to heart talk with your partner or group gatherings over a nice cup of illy Coffee or Gryphon Tea, with a wide spread of food and desserts for a high tea.

I don't really like the pork meatball though..
We usually get to eat those boring classic plain or raisin scones most of the time, so I was really very happy to see they have the fragrant Pandan Scones with Cashew Nuts somemore! My first time to have scone with cashew nuts. The texture is a little hard, but overall taste its still quite good. Hope the chef can improve on the hard texture, then it will be a perfect scone in Singapore!

Their satay was very cold as they're not grilled on the spot. It's all cold by the time they bring out in bulk, hence it doesn't taste so nice.

Halfway the buffet, the staff will pass around a plate of char siew on each table. I feel it was too thickly sliced for each piece, the meat was quite hard too. This was quite disappointing though..

Not bad dessert quality but I hope to see their Pandan Tiramisu as they have it previously before they changed the menu.
Conclusion: I will visit tea lounge again although the price is quite ex, as the food quality is quite good with different kind of food that you don't usually get to eat from normal high tea. Of course not forgetting the nice cosy ambience. Service was very good initially, but they keep forgetting our 2nd drinks order towards the end.
