Opening Hours: 6.30am to 10pm daily

Visited on 4 Nov 2017 (Sat). I love having brunch at hotels and here comes the latest addition "Publico Deli" under Intercontinental Hotel Group at Robertson Quay. Not to worry, the prices here are comparable to family restaurants. Publico Deli is a casual Italian dining place that offers All Day Breakfast and specialty coffee by Liberty!

You can opt to dine indoor or alfresco! But no pets allowed in alfresco. :(

 Beverage Menu

Flat White ($5++)
The coffee here was up to my standard! Thick and aromatic!

Food Menu

Loch Fyne Salmon Benedict ($21++)
Generous portions of loch fyne smoked salmon and eggs benedict on warm baked ciabatta, served with spinach. You can taste the freshness of the eggs and the sauce here is unlike the usual hollandaise sauce, theirs is sriracha hollandaise which is more to a spicy punch. (Something different) Loch Fyne salmon is renowned for its quality and depth of flavour! You can taste the quality in this dish.

Mediterrean Scramble ($19++)
This dish is perfect for weight watchers. Free range scrambled egg white served on a bed of lightly sauteed vegetables and large slice of sourdough bread. Large slices of grilled chicken breasts marinated in yogurt and spices. The breast meat tends to be a little dry but that is to be expected. The generous portion will fill you up even if you're a big eater.

Irresistible Tiramisu ($12++)

The tiramisu here was the best that I had among so many places! Homemade goodness Italian dessert with espresso soaked ladyfingers, bitter chocolate, mascarpone cheese and flavoured with generous cocoa powder. The overall texture was melted in the mouth! Must order!!!

Overall Impression: The service here was average as it took a long time for the staff to clear our plates and not much smile from the staff. Probably the place was quite crowded that morning. Food quality was quite good.  Note: The portion of the food and dessert here was quite big so do not over order.  The coffee here was great too. Publico Deli is definitely a new nice brunch place!

Note: Publico Deli is usually very noisy and crowded from morning till around 11am as their hotel guests will be having breakfast buffet till around that time.  If you'd like to have a more peaceful ambience, please try to come after 11am. :)

All Day Breakfast at Food For Thought (93 Stamford Road #01-04/05 - National Museum, Singapore 178897)

For National Museum

Visited on 24 Jan 2015 (Sat). Food For Thought is about transforming community spaces & bringing people together to enjoy Good Food for a Good Cause. They have 3 outlets (National Museum, 8 Queen Street and Botanic Gardens)

Note: There is No 10% Service Charge!

This is the entrance for FFT @National Museum

The round marble table tops and wall mosaics remind us of the home dining tables and kopitiams we grew up with, but updated in contemporary style. I like the ambience here!

You can choose to dine at outside OR

choose to dine inside here..

Thick French Toast with Bacon ($10+)

The french toast was quite good - aromatic buttery taste, it taste even better with the clotted cream provided.

Basic Works ($9+)
The basic works come with scrambled eggs, bacon & butter brioche. As you can see, the scrambled eggs were dry and way too over-cooked, so was quite disappointed in this. I like the toasted butter brioche and bacon.

Cafe Latte ($5+) and Add on "A Cup of Hand-Squeezed Orange Juice at $5+ with any All day Breakfast ordered

So far this is my first time to see gula melaka sugar for coffee. It's really something different and the fragrance of the sugar was fantastic.. if you put in more, it will enhance the coffee taste. Must try!

The all day breakfast were decent and the service was ok as the place was quite empty in the morning. They also serve soups & salads, burgers, sides, main course, pasta, desserts, alcohol and non-alcohol beverages, and food for the kids!

If you're looking for somewhere simple and quiet at a comfy kopitiam style to have a decent meal, or couples that need a quieter place to chat over meal, this is the place for you!

                       For Prive at Chijmes

Visited on 11 Jan 2015 (Sun). Privé is a multi-concept F&B lifestyle venue encompassing a Waterfront Bar, a Café and a modern Grill at Keppel Island. Prive has another new outlet at Chjimes as well! I'm here for the brunch at Prive Cafe. Prive cafe is a casual dining getaway and kids-friendly with indoor or outdoor seating.

Note: Please make reservation before you go to Prive as it was crowded especially weekends!

Feel so relaxed seeing the waterfront view..

As you can see from the two photos, they have a small playground for the kids to enjoy while the parents can have their meal comfortably. No wonder this is a popular place for family!

This is the interior near the entrance..

And these are the seats inside...

Caffe Latte ($5.50++)

Privé’s Ultimate Brekkie ($20++)
2 eggs (any style), I chose scrambled eggs. With a 6-inch chicken Frankfurter (Hotdog), maple-roasted bacon, roasted Roma tomato, sautéed button mushrooms, potato rosti and housemade wholemeal toast. I thought this was a little pricey for the quantity and quality. The scrambled eggs needs some improvements. It was a tad over-cooked, not melt-in-the mouth type. Overall this was a decent breakfast...

Eggs Royale ($16++)
English muffin, smoked Norwegian salmon, poached eggs, Hollandaise sauce. This was an excellent Eggs Royale! The poached eggs were cooked to perfection, runny with very tasty smoked salmon and the hollandaise sauce was just nice. I've tried some places that the sauce was a little sour.. A Must-Order brekkie!

Service was average with not bad food and a waterfront view.
