Weekend Brunch Buffet: 11.30am to 2.30pm (3 Hours)
Price:  $68++ per adult (food only) $5++ per person for Chinese Tea

Kids under 6 dines free. 6 to 12 years old enjoy 50% off. 
Top up $60++ per person for free flow of cocktails, champagne, wines and beer.

Lunch: 12pm to 2.30pm
Dinner: 6.30pm to 10.30pm
Supper: 6.30pm to 1am 
(Thur to Sat; eve of Public Holidays)

Bar: 12pm to 1am (Sun to Wed),

Mitzo is one of the chinese restaurants that serves Cantonese cuisine with a modern twist. The decor was very captivating with many colourful glass screens, looks like a party club! Unlike those usual traditional chinese restaurant deco, so boring...

Kick-start your weekend with the ultimate Yum Cha experience at Mitzo with a heady mix of gastronomy, cocktails and champagne. The menu features over 40 selections of dim sum, wok dishes and supreme seafood delicacies comprising of Bamboo Clam, Live Lobster and Abalone dish. There is also a playroom to keep the kids entertained! Have a elevated dining experience at Mitzo!

Parents can just sit back and enjoy their brunch buffet while Mitzo's playroom can keep the little ones busy watching cartoons, playing toys, colouring and drawing! The playroom is just adjacent to the dining hall, isn't Mitzo very thoughtful? Now you can bring your whole family to Mitzo without worry that the kids will disturb your brunch! They might even ignore you when you call them! Hahaha!

Tea is charged at $5++ per person. (We had Chrysanthemum Tea)


 Note: They have very nice spiced peanuts but they are charged at $5++ per person. So if you do not want to incur any additional costs, you may tell the staff to take away the peanuts. No need to feel paisei 1.

I preferred this with minced garlic in soya than the spicy peanut sauce! But don't worry the peanut sauce is not that spicy at all. The bamboo clam was good, complemented so well with the enoki mushroom and the soya sauce!

Most of the abalones that I had at other chinese restaurants were quite tough, but the abalone here was quite tender with nice XO sauce!



Crispy Pork Belly served with Bun
(Quite Good)

They have quite nice pork belly but I prefer to eat without the bun and sauce. Maybe you can request to order just the pork belly without the bun and sauce, so that you won't get so full and you can taste the origin pork belly too. :)



Mitzo Special Barbecued Pork
(Die Die Must Try Ar!)

This is their signature special char siew. If you come here without trying their char siew, u have not been to Mitzo!! I don't want to be exaggerating, but it's the truth. Your eyes will pop out when you bite on it! The edges were so crunchy and their caramelized sauce was so addictive!! And listen, it's free flow!!!!!! I will be so happy to eat char siew rice every week if the hawker can sell such a quality char siew! Thumbs up!!!



Royal Shrimp Dumpling

Even a simple shrimp dumpling (Har Gao), the chef can make it until so beautiful.. No wonder it's called Royal Shrimp Dumpling... 



Black Pepper Cod Fish Dumpling

This is another stunning food that u have to try! The floral dumpling is not only pretty in visual, but also great in taste! Please eat it while it's hot, so that u can taste the hot and juicy cod fish chunks with many black pepper taste! Yummy!!!



Escargot Cheese Puff
(Must Order)

The chef is so innovative to create such a cute looking snail dim sum to attract both adults and kids! When we bite on it, we were like "Wow!"  It was so crispy with savoury taste, totally beyond our expectations!



Custard Moon Bun
(Must Order)

Their version of lava bun (Charcoal bun with a Moon logo). Interesting custard bun with very aromatic salted egg yolk custard!


Char Siew Bun

Another charcoal bun that I love! Somehow charcoal char siew bun tasted more better. The skin was fluffy with appropriate sweetness char siew! 



Braised Abalone Strips & Bamboo Pith Soup
(Must Order)
Their version of braised abalone soup was really different from other chinese restaurants. The soup was braised to perfection, the thickness and flavour was just right. A comforting and distinctive quality broth!

Stir-fried Fish Fillet with Wild Mushroom in Osmanthus Sauce
(Not Bad)
This dish was very funny.. Both of us agreed that the wild mushrooms were the main lead than the fish fillet. The fillet was not tender and a tad bland while the wild mushrooms were so flavourful with the wonderful osmanthus sauce!






Hokkaido Milk Cheese Tarts - Only Served 3 Rounds
(Die Die Must Try Ar!)


I'm so delighted to see Hokkaido Milk Cheese Tart in the dessert menu at a chinese restaurant! We were blown away by their crunchy tart with the hokkaido milk cheese melt in our mouth!!! I have only two words to describe my feeling even when I'm writing this "Super Shiok!" Only Mitzo has this exlusive tarts! The staff will bring this to your table starting from around 12.30pm. Faster come down to try it or you'll regret it!
Note: This is very popular here, the tarts might be finished if you're here quite late. 



Chilled Mango Cream with Sago & Pomelo Topping
(Served with Lime Sorbet)

I love Mango Sago dessert served with sorbet and Mitzo served with Lime Sorbet! The sweetness of the mango cream was just right, with a little sour lime sorbet to cleanse your palate after a full meal!



Aloe Vera with Osmanthus Jelly 
(Served with Lychee Sorbet)
(Must Order)



This was my first time having aloe vera jelly dessert with lychee sorbet and it turned out to be great! Look at the pretty presentation!



Double-Boiled Longan Treasure Tea
(Not Bad)

A very soothing Longan treasure tea. Taste like our local dessert "Cheng Teng".


Deep-fried Chocolate Liquer Dumpling
(Not Bad)

Be prepared that the chocolate liquor was quite strong and bitter! Probably you won't like it if you're not an alcohol person.

Overall Impression: The service here was quite good. We were happy that our tea was refilled promptly on that day. 

I do not like brunch buffet with two seatings. I like Mitzo as we can sit back and relax, enjoy our brunch buffet for 3 hours long! 

As for the food, we were really very impressed in terms of quality, creativity and presentation. Most of their food, dim sum and dessert presentation were great and pretty! I would rate Mitzo as Number One Chinese Restaurant in Singapore! I guessed I do not need to say any further. You have to come and try it yourself! Mitzo offers the most luxurious weekend brunch buffet at reasonable price in Singapore!

Visited on 12 Nov 2016 (Sat). Cherry Garden, with its distinctive oriental charm, is one of the most beautiful chinese restaurants in Singapore. They offer an extensive menu of authentic Cantonese cuisine, presented with artistic modern flair. 



Have a seat outside if you're early. Enter the restaurant by this antique door, adorned with two traditional red lanterns. 

Cherry Garden's striking antique doorway. The restaurant has been designed according to Feng Shui, with charcoaled teak panels and slate floors to recreate the look of a splendid Oriental residence. 


Inform the staff of your reservation details at the reception

There are 3 sections in the restaurant. These are the tables at the main dining hall with some view of "greenery".

And these are the tables at the platform next to the main dining hall.



The 3rd section is their private room area. They have three private dining rooms. Lotus and Jasmine seat up to 12 guests each and can be combined. Bamboo is larger and can seat up to 24 guests.




Neat and beautiful table setting. The tea served for that day was "Dragon Well" (Long Jing) It is a type of green tea, said to aid digestion. It has an initial slight bitter taste but aromatic aftertaste. We really enjoyed the premium quality tea here! :)

Steamed Pork Siew Mai with Baby Abalone 
The baby abalone was considered quite big. I always love siew mai topped with baby abalone! 



Steamed Kurobuta Char Siew Bao 


I just love the way they present their dim sum in a little wooden box. So presentable! The kurobuto pork filling really makes a difference, but a slight pity as the skin was not soft and "fluffy" enough.

Our initial thought was this was just a normal fried dim sum, but we were wrong. In fact, this wafer-wrapped cod fillet was the BEST Food in the menu! I just can't get enough of this! The exterior had a flaky crispness with very aromatic hot and tender cod fillet inside, probably with the black pepper taste, the overall combination was heavenly matched!



Wok-Fried Waxed Meat Radish Cake with Silver Sprouts in XO Sauce 
This was one of the lacklustre item there. The radish cake was quite dry, not crispy and couldn't taste any XO sauce in it. Anyway carrot cake, being a hawker staple, it's not easy to achieve the same standard as famous hawker stalls. So far most of the hotel chinese restaurants failed in this dish..so its not a surprise.



Steamed Custard Bun with Yam

Their version of custard bun was really very different from others. Interesting appearance with very fragrant yam custard filling!





Golden Pumpkin Soup with Morel
Mushrooms & Diced Chicken 
This soup was also very special.The pumpkin taste was mild and well balanced, giving the soup a more robust, earthy flavour. But I hope Cherry Garden can offer a one time serving of premium soup "Braised Bird's Nest or Fish Maw soup" like other chinese restaurants.



Drunken Chicken in Hua Diao & Rose Dew Chinese Wine 
This was served chilled. The drunken chicken meat was very tender with strong chinese wine taste that I liked very much.



Cantonese-Style Roasted Pork Belly
Crackling pork skin and spiced with flavour, while the meat was extremely tender, layered with just the right proportion of fatty meat. try it with the horseradish sauce for the full experience!



Cherry Wood Charcoal Roasted Duck 
Deboned for easy eating, the duck meat was quite tender with a crispy savoury skin. complemented with a special cranberry sauce.



Crisp-Fried Shredded Squids with Salt & Pepper
The taste itself was ok, but the "flour" was thick... would have been better if they balanced out the proportion. nontheless, it was still peppery spicy goodness.



Deep-fried Chinese bun served with Chili Crab Meat Sauce 
The chili crab meat sauce was really good! A little spicy with some succulent crab meat inside! Good for lazy people like me; can eat crab meat with sauce without dirtying my hands. 


Steamed Live Prawns with Minced Garlic 

The server will serve a cold towel to the table for you to clean your hands when this dish is served. Full blast of garlic soy sauce goodness, really enjoyed the prawns!



Braised Cod Fillet with Spinach Tofu
Wow the sauce that they used for this dish was really tasty with tender braised cod fillet and tofu!



Wok-fried Kurobuta Pork with Garlic, Leek and Honshimeiji Mushrooms 
Tender kurobuta pork with a very yummy sauce! i normally don't like the mushrooms and vege but the sauce made me just want to gobble everything up!



Wok-Fried Chicken with Cashew Nuts & Dried Chilli
I like their version of gong bao chicken as they used caramelized cashew nuts instead of normal cashew nuts. the sweetness of the cashew nuts served to neutralize the spiciness so you can taste the maximum gong bao flavour.






Premium Quality & Presentable Chilled Desserts

Chilled Cream of Mango with Sago Pearls, 
Pomelo & Lime Sorbet 

Their mango sago cream was not sour which I like! Complemented so well with the sour lime sorbet for you to cleanse your palate after a buffet!



Homemade Organic Black Bean Pudding
with Japanese Sesame Ice Cream



Cherries in Nui Er Hong & Kuei Hua Chen Wine Cocktail Jelly served with Refreshing Lychee Sorbet

This is their signature dessert, my favourite dessert here! You will be able to taste the alcohol at the base of the dessert to have a WOW feeling before you finished. There is no other place that has this unique and refreshing dessert in any chinese restaurants. Dessert is not the specialty in most chinese restaurants, but we found it at Cherry Garden! Even their dessert is a cut above others!

Overall Impression: You will find top-notch service here compared to other chinese restaurants. Waiting time for food was quite fast. The food and dessert selection here were truly unique. If you're looking for high quality unique food with top-notch service and classy oriental ambience, look no further. Cherry Garden hits all the right spots! 

My Vote: 2nd Best Dim Sum Brunch in Singapore!
