This is the interior layout of the restaurant. Seriously, I don't like the layout here.. As you can see from the above two photos, the walkway was a narrow straight row, a lot of guests and staff will have to walk the same path everytime so it was very cramped. The restaurant was very noisy too.

Small Dessert Counter (In the restaurant)

Dim Sum Buffet Items Outside the restaurant (Beside the Pool)

You can take the tray from here and get the food yourself from the buffet.. (The trays were soooo old until I can't believe I'm having dim sum buffet at a 5 star hotel restaurant)

This was the only item that made me keep going back for more. The abalone atop was juicy and tasty and the siew mai was succulent too!

Complimentary Xiao Long Bao in the midst of the meal

Complimentary 1 Durian Pudding for Per Diner
The durian pudding contained real durian, very thick and sweet. You will feel very full and get sick of it very easily. Make sure you have it at the end of the meal.

Overall Impression: Probably the Worst Dim Sum Buffet in Singapore! (No Liu Sha Bao, No Char Siew Su, No Egg Tart, No Carrot Cake, No Fried Beancurd Roll, No Fried Mango Prawn Roll, No Fried Yam Puff etc) What we usually expect to see from a dim sum buffet were all not here. The food that they had were mostly cheapo but tasted decent.. Desserts were decent too. Service was ok. The guests who came for the dim sum high tea buffet were mostly tourists, foreigners, and a few locals..

Warning: Do not wear long-sleeve clothes. You will feel very hot when you get the food outside the restaurant. Lastly - Try once is enough!

Shuffle Bistro Bar (3D River Valley Road, #02-03, Clarke Quay, Singapore 179023) Reservation: 6338 9438

Visited on 3 Jan 2015 (Sat). Shuffle is a nice place to chill out with great food & drinks together with awesome 'Live' acoustic music in Chinese & English every night! You can write down your song request on the paper provided at every table, pass it to the staff and they will pass it to the singer! But no guarantee they will sing the song you want lar...

They have different band schedule every night (Please see below). We were there on Sat so the band above on that day was Banana Split. Hmm.. I would say their performance was quite boring. Not sure about other band but I felt there should be some interaction with the audience. What I experienced here was - Audience talk among themselves while they sing among themselves. Their vocal not bad but still need some room for improvements.

Half & Half Pizza (Choose any 2 pizza to form 1) $24++

This is Half Smoked Duck + Half Seafood Pizza. Wow they have very awesome pizza here! The pizza was thin crust, cheesy, with very fresh ingredients and very yummy taste!! Must-Order!

Overall Shuffle has won my heart with their awesome pizza and drinks, will try more of their food to have a better review when I visit the next time. Enjoy nice food while listening to nice music! You can view their food menu here. Their service was efficient too. So far I'm very satisfied here except a little boring band that night. Will definitely be back there again!

Note: There is No 10% Service Charge!

This is the entrance for FFT @National Museum

The round marble table tops and wall mosaics remind us of the home dining tables and kopitiams we grew up with, but updated in contemporary style. I like the ambience here!

You can choose to dine at outside OR

choose to dine inside here..

Thick French Toast with Bacon ($10+)

The french toast was quite good - aromatic buttery taste, it taste even better with the clotted cream provided.

Basic Works ($9+)
The basic works come with scrambled eggs, bacon & butter brioche. As you can see, the scrambled eggs were dry and way too over-cooked, so was quite disappointed in this. I like the toasted butter brioche and bacon.

Cafe Latte ($5+) and Add on "A Cup of Hand-Squeezed Orange Juice at $5+ with any All day Breakfast ordered

So far this is my first time to see gula melaka sugar for coffee. It's really something different and the fragrance of the sugar was fantastic.. if you put in more, it will enhance the coffee taste. Must try!

The all day breakfast were decent and the service was ok as the place was quite empty in the morning. They also serve soups & salads, burgers, sides, main course, pasta, desserts, alcohol and non-alcohol beverages, and food for the kids!

If you're looking for somewhere simple and quiet at a comfy kopitiam style to have a decent meal, or couples that need a quieter place to chat over meal, this is the place for you!
