Slow-Cooked Pork Belly with Butternut Squash, Crispy Onion, Cumin

The pork belly was slow-cooked to perfection, very tender meat that was melted in the mouth! Complemented very well with the nice butternut squash!

Grilled Barramundi with Charlotte Potato, Shaved Vegetables, Citrus Dressing

The exterior skin was very crispy with tender meat. There is nothing wrong with this dish but nothing impressive. I felt that using shaved vegetables wasn't a nice presentation and this dish was too simple using without much efforts on it. Perhaps the chef can add more attractive sides to enhance the whole taste and presentation.

Latte (Non-Refillable)

Cappuccino (Non-Refillable)
End the meal with a nice cup of cappuccino while admiring the spectacular sea view! This is how we should enjoy our life sometimes despite stressful working days!

Overall Impression: Service was very good. There will be a staff to standby at each section to serve you. If you prefer to have main course first, do let the server know that you want to be served main course first. Otherwise they will only prepare after you finish the appetizers from the buffet spread. The Main Course here were decent.

The dessert buffet used to be nice to look at but cannot make it. Now, most desserts tasted great! But I still preferred gelato and sorbet rather than yogurt. So I was quite disappointed that Equinox has replaced the gelato dessert to yogurt.

We were quite satisfied with most of the things here, except the main course menu did not change within a few months. It was also quite warm during the day when we were seated by the window. Overall, Equinox is still one of the nicest restaurants to have buffet with spectacular view in Singapore.

Note: No extra charge for window seats during lunch time but there will be an additional charge of $20 during dinner time if you want window seat. They only serve fine dining food during dinner time.

Dried Scallop with Fish Maw & Crabmeat Potage
(S) $18++, (M) $35++, (L) at $48++
My Order in the photo is (M) (For around 6 bowls)

 This is their signature soup that you must order when you're there. It was full of generous ingredients, thick, very flavourful and comforting soup!

Silky Egg Seafood Hor Fun
(S) $7++ (L) $16++
My Order in the photo is (S)
 I really like their hor fun with a charred taste and silky egg gravy. Trust me, they really have a simple, yet very delicious hor fun!

King's Pork Rib
(S) $12++ (L) $18++
My Order in the photo is (S)
This is another dish that surprised us. The meat was really very tender! The sweet and sour sauce used was also great, not too sweet and not too sour. Must order!

Coffee Ribs with Almond Flakes
(S) $15++ (L) $30++
My Order in the photo is (S)
If you're a coffee-lover, this will be a great dish. The coffee sauce was quite bitter and with a strong coffee taste but very very aromatic.. The meat was also quite tender. We love this dish!

Crab Meat Tofu with Egg White
(S) $14++ (L) $26++
My Order in the photo is (S)
The tofu was silky with nice egg white gravy. A simple and not bad dish.

Overall Impression: We did not try their signature sambal fish as we're not a spicy lover. But so far all the dishes that we ordered did not disappoint us. You can be rest assured of the food quality here. They can turn a simple and common dish into a fantastic dish. Service was ok too! If you like quality zi char food in a comfy air-conditioned restaurant at affordable prices, this is the place for you and your family!
