Quality of food were mostly quite good and Service was great as well. Nothing to complain actually. The prices are very reasonable for the buffet spread. UOB card holders entitled to 15% discount too except Public Holidays.

This restaurant is usually quite full house on all types of buffet especially on weekends so please try to make reservations at least 1 or 2 weeks in advance.

Tea and Towel = $1.80++ per person.

Pickles at $3.00++ per plate. (You can tell them you don't want the pickles)

Red House is a seafood restaurant established since 1976. They specialize in Asian seafood dishes and Singaporean favorites.

They have outdoor seating and indoor seating.

Scallop Dumpling ($7.00++)

There wasn't any scallop taste and the soup was so so only... I suggest don't waste your $ on this. Why not add $6++ more to order a better quality soup below!

Double Boiled Cartilage ($13.00++)

As you can see from the photo above, the broth was rich and thick as it was simmered for hours and of course it was full of flavour!! Premium quality, Must-Order!!!

BBQ Pork "Char Siew" Crispy Bun ($4.00++)

The exterior was not crispy enough but the taste was ok..

Takesumi Chilli Crab Bun ($8.00++)

This was my first time trying chilli crab bun with bamboo charcoal exterior skin.. Maybe I'm not used to having steamed type of chilli crab bun especially in charcoal so feel a little funny when I consume it. And there's quite many chilli seeds inside which I don't like. But this was their signature dim sum there so you should have a try if you have not!

Steamed Custard Bun ($4.00++)

The custard was smooth and creamy but need to improve on the skin to be more fluffy..

A sample of their other menu.

Overall Impression: Red House has wide variety of Chinese food in their menu, it will be a good place to bring your foreigner friends or family here for lunch or dinner. Dim Sum only available during lunch. Service was quite good here. Food quality was decent for the dim sum. But they're famous for their seafood so try their seafood if you're there ya. The prices here are reasonable and affordable too!

High Tea at Atrium Lounge Marina Mandarin (6 Raffles Boulevard - Marina Mandarin Singapore, Singapore 039594) Reservation:6845 1111

Visited on 16 August 2015 (Sun).

Enjoy a weekend 3-Tier afternoon tea, inclusive of coffee or tea at only $42++ for 2 persons at the Atrium Lounge.

Available on Saturdays & Sundays only, from 3pm to 5.30pm

Earl Grey from Twinings and Latte

The scones here were much bigger than many other hotels that tasted quite nice..

Overall Impression: For the price of $42++ for 2 pax, I've already expected nothing outstanding, just a decent afternoon tea with normal coffee and tea, which is why I did not comment much about the food items above. But the ambience here was really comfy and romantic. If you just want to have a quiet and cosy ambience for a affordable afternoon tea, you can try this place. :)
