The christmas tree view from my seat!

A short christmas carol around 7.30pm to kickstart the lovely night!

Free Flow of Carrot, Pineapple, Apple, Mango, Orange, Watermelon Juices

Please note that the food items here are just part of the buffet as there're too many items to list!

Honey Glazed Dingley Dell Bone-In Ham, Cloves, Rum Raisin Gravy

Seafood On Ice:

Western Station:
Slow Roasted Turkey Breast & Stuffed Leg, Cranberries, Giblet Gravy

Herb Crusted New Zealand King Salmon, Lemon

This was premium, except the salmon meat was not tender enough..

Mason Eggs, Porcini Mushrooms, Winter Truffle
The temperature was being monitored regularly..

The staff will add the espuma just before serving to us.

This is a very unique creation! A slow-cooked egg with winter truffle flan and porcini mushrooms. It was creamy with runny egg yolk and the winter truffle enhanced the whole taste. This was very filling and satisfying! Thumbs Up! :)

Japanese Station:
Yakitori Grill

Big Eye Tuna Teriyaki

Sri Lankan Swordfish / Chicken Meatball

Tomato Bacon / Leek Bacon

New Zealand King Salmon

Assorted Sushi and Sashimi

I like the presentation in Mezza 9. They even put in effort to place the whole row of plants with dry ice fanfare.

Blue Swimmer Crabmeat Salad
I just wanted to highly compliment this cold appetizer! The crabmeat salad was really full of flavour that made you wanted to crave more.. Thumbs Up for this great appetizer!

Spicy Tuna Maki

Chinese Station:
 Dim Sum

Chinese Station:
Wok
Steam Red Garoupa, Hong Kong Style

Wok-Fried Spencer Gulf Wild King prawn, Spring Onion, White Pepper Sauce
This is another dish that was worth to compliment! The prawns were super succulent with the aromatic yummy white pepper sauce = Fantastic!!!

Crispy Kampong Chicken, Lemon Grass, Chinese Wine

Chinese Station:
Barbeque

Roasted Suckling Pig

Beijing Duck, Chilli, Spring Onion, Egg Skin, Bean Paste

Crispy Barbeque Sausage / Roasted Spare Rib, Garlic

Dessert Station (Thumbs Up for the Great Desserts!)

This is my first time to see such a cute and unique dessert using the anti-griddle at a buffet. Not really fantastic taste but it just feels so good as it's freeze....

Glad to have this premium Cappucino to end my X'mas eve meal!

Overview: The service here was good and plates were cleared regularly. I was very impressed there is wide variety with high quality food, drinks and desserts! The only downside is they placed too many row of seats in front of the show kitchens that made the passage way very narrow and it's quite irritating to see so many people passed by our row of seats every minute..  Nevertheless, Mezza 9 is definitely worth going for your next festive feast!

*Highly Recommended*

Visited on 21 Dec 2014 (Sun). District 10 is a mixture of a bar and restaurant that has both indoor and alfresco seating. The contemporary, modern look is complemented with touches of rustic simplicity, from the ceiling and standing fans to wooden paneling all around the restaurant.

Their bar counter!

They have a 8-seater private dining room here named "Antinori" (See photo below)

The Alfresco area..

Caffe Latte ($6++)
The latte was quite bitter type...

Creamy Scrambled Eggs with Toasted Muffin, Oriental Mushrooms, Hashbrown & Spring Onion  ($14++)
This was disappointing .. The scrambled egg was not creamy and super bland, muffin was too soft, mushroom was not nice too.. Hope they can improve in this simple brunch...

Pandan-Coconut Pancake with Gula Melaka Syrup ($9++)
Can you believe I came here because of this?? Haha.. I'm a super pandan, coconut and gula melaka lover, so can you imagine how happy I am when they have all my 3 favourites into 1 dish here? The pandan fragrance was ok, just that it was a little too light, not fragrant enough. Some people may like the burnt (chao da in hokkien) taste but I prefer without much burnt taste so was a little disappointed in this area, perhaps I should tell the server to inform the chef about my preference then it will be a perfect dish for me. Overall with the aromatic gula melaka syrup and coconut flakes atop, this is a special nice brunch! Remember to try this when you're here for brunch ya!

Out of 2 items - 1 was bad, 1 was quite nice. Overall food quality was decent, after all this is a bar restaurant.  Ambience was quite good at indoor, was very peaceful during brunch hours. Service was ok, just that the young lady server who served us was quite inexperienced. Nevertheless, I will still go back for the Pandan-Coconut Pancake! Remember to make reservations below!

Note: The brunch menu is available from 9am to 2.30pm.

Afternoon Tea at Sky On 57 (10 Bayfront Avenue, Marina Bay Sands - Sands Skypark, Tower 1, Level 57) Reservation: 6688 8857

Visited on 7 Dec 2014 (Sun). Celebrity chef Justin Quek has brought his culinary touch to a brand-new high tea concept that celebrates a mix of signature savoury and sweet tastes at the award-winning Sky on 57 restaurant.

Sky High Tea is available daily from 2:30pm to 5pm and is priced at S$78++ for two persons. (Total bill = $91.26)

For a more luxurious treat, pair the high tea with a glass of Taittinger Champagne priced at S$138++ for two persons.

Note: Free flow of Coffee and Tea, Food items are non-refillable.

This small area is for the afternoon tea...

The tea selection from Newby London!

The high tea experience starts with Chef Justin’s signature Foie Gras Xiao Long Bao and frothy demitasse of Fresh Mushroom Cappuccino! Omg this is the BEST xiaolongbao I've ever had! Skin was smooth and the foie gras enhanced the overall taste... They were served piping hot - Look at the broth inside in the photo below.. The mushroom cappuccino was thick and flavourful too!

Delicious broth oozing from the opening... mouthwatering...

The remaining items were served in a 3-tier stand.

There were an assortment of savoury and sweet items. First tier was fried oyster tempura with seaweed flakes, and Milo ice-cream. The oyster tempura was crispy outside with tender oyster inside, very delicious! The milo ice-cream melted fast so remember to have this first!

Next was creme brulee, buttercake, baguette and salmon roll - All were very average taste..
Last tier worth to mention is the Ivory White Truffle Chocolate (Sweet with a touch of truffle) and Gula Java Macarons (Tasted like gula melaka, has a very amazing fragrance but not too sweet. Thumbs up for this!)

As it was my birthday, they presented us with two extra macarons instead of a small cake... Well, it's the thought that counts.. Actually I was addicted to their gula java macarons, so I'm delighted to receive this small surprise! :-)

Overall the 3-tier items were mostly unremarkable and tasted very average, was expecting a better quality afternoon tea from Sky on 57... Only the starter, fried oyster tempura and the macarons were really good. Service was average as the staff were quite busy to juggle between guests who were still having lunch and guests having afternoon tea.. Hope they can improve the service for guests who were here for the high tea as well as the quality of the high tea items.
