Visited on 3rd Aug 2014 (Sun). Eggs & Berries under the Food Junction Group, is an American dining concept in an eminent heartland mall. They have revamped the whole place and menu in 2014. Of course price also increased..
One of the best parts about the dining experience at Eggs & Berries is that, the eggs you order can be poached, over easy, sunny side-up, scrambled, or in the form of a deliciously, cheesy omelette. You can have them with waffles, pancakes, burgers, etc! So if you're an egg-lover, this will be a great place for you + the restaurant was very cosy too!
Latte ($5 or $5.50)
The latte tasted average..
Italia Eggs Benedict Doppio ($18.90++)
Doppio means double. You can choose if you want solo (single egg) or doppio (double egg). I really love their english muffin, very crispy and nice! Their eggs were also poached to almost perfecton. Outside was a little over-cooked with runny yolk inside (forgot to take the pic of inside) I like the parma ham to complement with the eggs benedict, just that the parma ham was very salty.. Actually I rather they remove the caviar and charge $2 lesser.. See, the caviar fell off and became so ugly when served to me... Anyway this is a very nice breakfast, remember to try this! :)
Sweet Brioche French Toast ($16.90++)
It comes with scrambled egg, caramelized banana, french toast & mixed greens. The scrambled egg was very disappointing.. Super dry and overcooked! Very bad... The french toast doesn't taste nice like other restaurants.. It taste something like fried beancurd... I will give this breakfast a miss next time.
Homemade Creme Brulee ($4.90++)
I always like to eat their creme brulee here as i just feel happy to see it's inside a small egg glass. But i think it's too creamy.. It would taste better if it's not too creamy...
The service here was ok. There're still a lot of other items that has yet to try. Do go try other food items!
