Note: Afternoon Tea can only start a bit later from 3.30pm on Sundays as they have a super long lunch Sunday buffet up till 4.30pm, hence the whole ambience will be quite noisy till 4.30pm) Try to come during Mon-Sat if possible.

Visited on 2nd April 2017 (Sun). Lime restaurant has recently revamped their afternoon tea menu from those english afternoon tea to a more local flavor, creatively infused with sweet and savoury local flavours.

Carrot Cake / Passion Fruit Meringue Tart

Coconut Pandan Mousse / Peanut Butter Chocolate Cup with Gianduja Chantilly

This peanut butter chocolate cup is a beautiful dessert! 

The 2nd nicest dessert besides the coconut pandan mousse.

And this is the coconut pandan mousse tart! The main attraction among the whole tier. A very fragrant and soft mousse cake that will definitely leave you a deep impression.

This was my first time seeing a carrot cupcake! There were shreds of carrots inside the cupcake!

This is their version of Nasi Lemak, very unique rice ball. Spicy and aromatic!

Overall impression: Price wise, the wide selection of tea and coffee makes it fairly reasonable and Lime restaurant is definitely one of the most value for money high tea place!

Overall, I can feel the improvements. They have improved their service as well! There is a sense of effort in the high tea items as you can see they have come up with unique items this time round which you can't find at other place. The quality of the high tea items were quite good! But personally, I still prefer a Traditional English afternoon tea. Nonetheless, this is still a very relax place for high tea at affordable price!
