Overall Impression: The service here was quite good. Food selection was quite little for this price of $60++ per person. Food and dessert quality were decent. But with the 1-for-1 Card promotion, it's still worth it given that the ambience was really cosy, classy and relax with soothing piano music! But without the 1-For-1, the price of $60++ per person is definitely not justifiable...
Went for 1 for 1 OCBC credit card promotion on August 2016 & with great disappointment because more than half of the food shown in your blog were not served during my visit: There were no chendol, cream puff, choco cupcakes, pandan kueh lapis, sandwiches, pan fried seabass, battered cod, sakura chicken, spicy cranberry, grilled veg & beertroot jam, etc even fresh prawns smaller in size. It's really not worth the price though is 1 for 1 promotion. Very very few varieties. Not worth going.
ReplyDeleteOmg.. Perhaps they have revamped their whole menu as I visited during May and now it's already August. Just to let u know menu is always changed for buffet, so u might not be able to see the same food items as seen in food blogger's blog, can only read it for reference. Sorry to hear about your great disappointment. In fact I did feedback to their manager about their variety too little for this price of $60++ per pax during my visit, but they still did not do anything about it. Thanks for updating me and the readers here, Jeany!
ReplyDeleteI thought the variety would be of the same, not the exact same menu, but more or less the same amount. Unfortunately, I was to be disappointed.
ReplyDeleteThere weren't any oysters on the day I went(some day in October). There was a 1 for 1 credit card promotion. Perhaps that is the reason? Prawns(smaller in size as the above reader stated) and Mussels(also smaller) only. There was no menu for the teas(Carribean Summer). No salads. Only half a chicken was left. Steamed 'Har Gao' dumplings, crispy battered chicken pieces, vegetarian curry pastry instead the items in mini plates.
4 varieties of ice cream, which were all almost empty, except the chocolate one.
No cup cakes, cream puffs.
Staff were friendly, but more attentive to the bigger tables.
Pretty disappointing, overall. Would not pay $60++ per person for this.
