(Updated: Afternoon Tea no longer available)

Operation Hours:
Mon to Thu: 1200 - 2300
Sat: 0930 - 0100
Sun: 0930 - 2300
Fri and Eve of P.H: 1200 - 0100

Visited on 6th Oct 2013 (Sun).  Awfully Chocolate has recently launched an Afternoon High Tea set at Ninethirty in Esplanade Mall. $20++ for 1 pax and $36++ for 2 pax = Total bill of $42.30 (Available from 3-6pm daily except Monday closed) The High Tea set comprises of a choice of House Coffee OR Gryphon Artisanal Tea, Chocolate Cake, Tiramisu, White Chocolate Creme Brulee, Finger Sandwiches, Wild Mushroom Quiche, and Banana with Dark Chocolate Truffles that you can dip into the Chocolate Fondue

The service here is average, 1 of the staff seem not very well-trained. We ordered the High Tea Set and the girl just went off without asking us our order for drinks. After about 15mins or so, another girl then came to tell us the set comes with a drink each. Overall the service is a bit slow. But since the price is affordable and if you're not in a hurry, it's still worth a try as the place is quite cosy.

Note: The photos below are located at Esplanade but already closed down.

They will serve their freshly baked scones on a separate plate before the 3 Tier Stand comes. I love their scones, the buttery taste is there and they have a very Yummy cream to go along with. I must say this is the BEST cream I've ever had so far!

I ordered Berry Berry Tea. Suitable for ladies - A mixture of little sour and little sweet!

Here comes our 3-Tier-High Tea Set for 2 pax! As it's only $36++ for 2 pax, thus don't expect variety. The standard of the food is average nice!

This restaurant has been around for very long so i guessed many of you have heard about this place or have been here before. Nevertheless, some of you might want to know the quality of the food now is good or bad? Well, i will give a quick review on each food below. Please note that the portion of the food below are for 2 pax. Before i move on, here are the photos of this restaurant. The settings of the restaurant is simple and nice. But... try not to sit near their kitchen, the noise level from the kitchen area is really very disturbing..

Love the Red Ruby and Taco Shooter!

Sze Chuan Smoked Duck Breast with Pickled Cucumber

The taste is ok, quite standard but not the Wow type.

                     Prawn Salad with Compressed Melon
This is nice...

Poached Live Prawn with Chinese Wine
(1 Time Serving) The prawns are very fresh and nice, except the wine is too little, can't really taste the wine otherwise it's perfect!

Braised Mini Abalone with Oyster Sauce

(1 Time Serving)  The abalone is tender but the oyster sauce is not great.

Braised Shark’s Fin Soup with Crab Meat & Wild Mushroom
(1 Time Serving) The taste is quite nice but the broth is not thick. (As this is part of the ala carte buffet, so we can't expect high quality shark's fin soup)

Deep Fried Soon Hock with Spring Onion Soya Sauce
(1 Time Serving) This is 1 of my favourite dish here! Very well done..

Wok Fried Mantis Prawn with Butter and Crispy Oats
(1 Time Serving) This is another of my favourite dish here! Most of the oat prawns outside need to deshell, but you can eat the oat prawns here without using your hand as they have deshelled. The taste and everything is great!

Wok Fried Rock Lobster with Basil Chilli Lime Sauce
(1 Time Serving) Not much lobster meat, the taste is so so.

Sautéed Scallops with Asparagus
(1 Time Serving)  The scallops are tender but they're too tiny till we can't enjoy this dish.

Oven Baked Half Shell Scallops with Coconut Ginger Sabayon
The taste of the sauce is rather unusual. it's either you like it or you hate it...

Golden Braised Seasonal Vegetable with Soy Gluten & Flower Clam
Love the flower clam, the clam is very QQ and consider quite big. The broth taste great!

Crisp-fried Pipa Tofu
Yum Yum, love the filling inside. Ordered twice!

Braised Homemade Spinach Tofu with Mushroom in Oyster Sauce
Love this spinach tofu and the sauce everything!

Wok Fried Chicken with Fookchow Rice Wine Sauce

This Fookchow rice wine sauce tastes quite sourish.

Ok that's all for our stomach to consume for that day! Overall the quality of the food here considered quite good given for the reasonable price we've paid for so many food selection. The desserts are mostly Thai style offered at the front counter. Overall, this place is worth a visit as it's Value for Money and the service is very good too. Our plates are always cleared!

Sorry for the poor resolution photos as this place is extremely dim (Romantic) + am using lousy cam in 2012. The photos below are just for your reference before you decide to try out this place! You can find the link of their full menu at the bottom of this post :)

Wonderful Dessert Platter! Don't u think it looks like an art piece?

The service was quite good here. This is 1 of the few distinctive places that you can consider for special occasions as their menu was creative with unique dessert experience. Singapore has only a few tall restaurants, so do check out this place!

(CLOSED DOWN) Signature Stone Restaurant (招牌石锅饭店) 729 Havelock Road Singapore 169649 - Reservation: 6271 9918

I would like to highly recommend this newly opened little restaurant since May 2013 along the stretch of shophouses at Havelock Rd with their specialties of Asian & Western Signature Stone Pot. There is a wide variety in their menu, so u can always try different dish each time you're there. They have steamboat here as well! The good thing here is NO GST CHARGE and the food here are all Without MSG! Bear in mind that the waiting time for the Stone Pot is about 15-20mins. The service staff here are very friendly which let us feel like home. Prices here are very affordable and the food was good quality too. It's really Value For Money!

Let me start off with the items I've tried which are worth to order!

Stone Pot Wine Chicken - $9

This is A Must-Order Item!!! It was served piping hot, bubbling in the hotstone bowl. Trust me, the broth will make you feel like drinking non-stop. (The taste is Slightly Spicy+Slightly Sour+Slightly Salty)  The chicken are super tender too! *Drool*

Fish Maw Soup (Small-$16, Big $28)
This Small Pot of Fish Maw can serve between 2-3 bowls. The Fish Maw is QQ and the Broth is Tasty & Thick..Yummy! Do order this when you're there. I just can't have enough  of this...

Onion Cheese Mushroom Omelette - $6

Though it's a simple looking Omelette, the cheese in it will melt in your mouth! It's only $6, worth to order!

Stone Pot Ham & Cheese Rice - $10.90
I love Ham & Cheese combination, it will never go wrong! Nice!

Stone Pot Garlic Herb Salmon - $12.30
I personally feel that the garlic taste is a bit too strong for me but if you're a garlic fan, then this is the 1 for u!

Lemon Sherbert - $2.80
This is a Must Order Dessert to end your meal - Lemon Sherbert! The portion is very big, like a Snowball! The taste is just right, not that sour and very refreshing! Yummy Yummy!

Quick Glance on 1 of their Menu Page!
Their Luohan Longan drink is also very nice, at $2.50!
