Visited on 10 Oct 2017 (Tues). Seasonal Tastes offers Asian to International fare, with a live interactive kitchen concept to provide a truly personalised dining experience in Marina Bay. The restaurant is huge, cosy with casual design features sweeping floor-to-ceiling windows that show off breathtaking sea view.

This is the beautiful lift lobby at Level 32! On the right will be Seasonal Tastes!

I love this cloudy day sea view. Feels so relax and lazy here, don't feel like leaving.. Haha

Self Service Coffee (Italian Coffee)

 Enjoy a cup of coffee by the window!

Dessert Station with White Chocolate Fountain

Shooter Glass: Chocolate Mousse / Mango Jelly
Left: Mango Cake
Right: Cheese Cake

Wow this is the first time to see a hotel restaurant use ice chiller table top to keep the desserts cool at all times! I love this concept very much as it is so convenient without open or close the chiller door and the temperature of the desserts are as good as from a fridge. I hope to see more hotel restaurants using this!

Gelato: Vanilla / Dark Chocolate /
Avocado / Strawberry
Sorbet: Blood Orange (Center)
 I love the blood orange sorbet to the max! The taste was a tad sour with orange scent, very refreshing! This is a very good dessert to cleanse your palate especially after a full buffet.

Pandan Castella Cake

Opera Cake

Steamed Rice Cake Or Wa Ko Kueh
(Popular Local Cake)

Chocolate Financier

Yuzu Mousse

Hot Dishes:
Wok Fried River Fish with
Five Spice Pepper Salt

I like five spice pepper salt food. But the fish has many bones, so must be careful when eating this. The taste was of course great!

Cauliflower Gratin

Roasted Beef

Braised Pork Belly

Braised Duck

Hokkien Mee

Steamed Hainanese Chicken

Left Pot: Chicken Broth
Right Pot: Singapore Laksa

Left to Right:
Beef / Chicken / Mutton Satay

DIY Salad Station

Mussels, Prawns, Scallops and Flower Crabs On Ice Station

Assorted Sushi

Appetizers Station

Pasta Station

I like the creamy yummy pasta!

Overall Impression: The service here was alright, just that it took them quite long to clear the plates. Their hot dishes are mostly like home-cooked food. Don't expect wide variety of food here. Food and dessert quality were decent. But the ambience is really very relaxing and comfortable with the sea view, so it makes up for the quality in some of the food items.

This restaurant is really huge that can hold big gatherings. So if you're looking for a simple buffet in a spacious and high-rise hotel restaurant with sea view and adequate food quantity, this is the place for you!

Note: Seasonal Tastes do not provide complimentary carpark coupon anymore!

Visited on 30 Sep 2017 (Sat) for their Ala Carte Dinner. The newly refurbished La Brasserie has reopened its doors since mid June 2017. Located at the heart of the historically rich Fullerton Heritage precinct, with spectacular views of the Marina Bay waterfront, La Brasserie charms with its unrivalled setting and finely curated menu of French ‘cuisine du soleil’ classics, which feature lighter Mediterranean flavours and touches.

The high ceiling of the dining hall gives this restaurant a really grand feeling, a signature of the architecture of Fullerton hotel.

Complimentary freshly-baked baguettes and sourdoughs, served with duck rillette and butter.

French Soda:
Lychee Madness ($6 Nett)
I enjoyed this glass of lychee syrup with fresh lime juice, fresh lychee juice and artisanal soda!

Hot Smoked Balik Salmon ($21++)
This is my favourite starter here! New Zealand King Salmon cured with salt and smoked with Japanese binchotan charcoal, sous vide and torched. Complemented so well with the fennel, red onion compote, dill, creme fraiche and my favourite scotch eggs. Must order!

Galette - La Complete ($23++)
(Gluten-free Savoury Buckwheat Crepes)
The ingredients inside the galette are Paris Ham, Gruyère Cheese and Organic Egg. The buckwheat crepe had a wonderful aroma and was lightly crisp on the outside. The gruyère cheese was melt in the mouth and not forgetting the Paris ham, held the entire dish together with its savoury taste. Look at the huge portion, this is one of their cheaper food item but able to make you feel satisfied and full too. Highly recommended!

Supreme De Canard Confit ($39++)
The duck confit is one of their signature dishes. I tried this dish due to the rave reviews on it. However, I was a tad disappointed as the meat was overcooked and didn't have the "slide off the bone" texture I was expecting on that night. But the taste itself was really great, just the overall texture a little let down.

Grand Marnier Souffle ($18++)
The souffle was generally good. The texture was quite soft, served alongside was the vanilla ice-cream and warm chocolate sauce. The condiments added a different layer of taste to the dessert. Shown on the left were complimentary items for that day.

Ala Carte Menu

Overall Impression: The service here was of course, top notched! The food was quite good overall. The price is on the high side, I will definitely recommend La Brasserie if you're looking for a cosy fine-dining restaurant for any special occasions.
