Redpan is a collaboration between DP Architects and GRUB! This is my first time to hear an architecture firm paired with a F&B company. When you step into the restaurant, you'll be convinced from the design of their restaurant that it's really from the people behind of an architect company.

Through this collaboration, redpan aims to redesign the culinary experience.

Menu

Flat White ($5++)

Mocha ($5++)
The mocha was really very thick!

Truffle Floss Fries ($9++)
Omg this was the BEST fries I've ever had in my life - Very addictive! Truffle + Mayo + Floss work wonders! Please remember to order this when you're there!

Grilled Kingfish Collar ($20++)
As you can see from the photo, they purposely grilled till a char taste. So if you don't like those charred taste, do not order this. The meat of the fish was surprisingly quite tender! Served with chinchalok chilli & salad.

"Har Cheong" Chicken Cutlet ($20++)
Chicken thigh coated & fried, marinated with prawn taste, served with smashed potatoes. I like this asian dish especially their smashed potatoes! They tasted so different from normal potatoes. This was my first time eating prawn paste chicken in cutlet style and it was indeed quite good!

Durian Baked Alaska ($9++)
Durian ice-cream encased with meringue & blow-torched. You will love this dessert if you're a durian lover!

Overall Impression: The service here was not bad, ambience is nice and cosy. Except when there're family with kids or babies, it will be noisy as the place is very small. The prices here is not cheap but quite good quality food they served, worth to try!

 Book now through Chope for instant reservations!

Operating Hours:
Opens 9am - 10pm daily

Visited on 24 July 2016 (Sun). Laurent's Cafe is from the people who brought you the decadence of chocolate desserts at Laurent Bernard Chocolatier. This hip cafe is hidden underground at a corner inside the Robinsons that offers all day brunch, sandwiches & salads, soup & pasta, hot main courses, desserts and drinks.

 They have a cold water dispenser there but without any cups provided, very funny...

 Cafe Vienna ($6.50++)

Farmers Breakfast ($23++)

They're using organic scramble egg here, which is why the price of their egg breakfast is slightly higher here. Serve with roasted potatoes, sausages, baked bacon, sauteed mushrooms and toasted bread.

Crispy Duck Leg Confit ($26++)

I'm a duck confit lover and their duck confit has passed my expectation. Very crispy skin with warm and well marinated juicy meat. Don't forget to try this!

Dark Chocolate Souffle
with Vanilla Ice-Cream & Sauce ($18.50++)
Laurent's Cafe is well known for their chocolate so no doubt for their high quality chocolate souffle. It was very rich, which is why vanilla ice-cream and vanilla cream was served alongside to complement the souffle. A satisfying dessert for chocolate lovers!

Overall Impression: Food quality was not bad but service was not very good, the staff were not very attentive and I still have to approach the staff to give me their menu. Overall it's a nice small cafe to catch up with friends over decent food. This cafe is quite small, do make reservations before you go down especially on weekends since this is at orchard area.

Tino's Pizza Cafe (8 Sentosa Gateway, #01-00 The Forum Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore 098269)

It's such a hassle to make reservation through phone - Book now through Chope for Instant Reservations!

Visited on 3 April 2016 (Sun). Tino’s Pizza Cafe serves both Neapolitan and Roman style crust which best represents the traditional and creative preparation methods. Through extreme high temperature baking process, the hand crafted charred crust brings out the most of the tantalizing fresh ingredients. A simple interior cafe that serves nice Pizza!

The procedure here - Place your order and make payment at the counter first, the food will then be served to your table.

Their Menu

Since there were only 2 of us, so we go for this $39.90++ set menu that comes with 2 Soups of the day + 1 Pizza + 1 Pasta (Top up $2.50++ for each drink)

Soup of The Day: Cream of Mushroom
The Mushroom soup here was served with pita bread.

Pesto Pollo Spaghetti
Spaghetti aglio with chunky chicken slices and tangy pesto sauce. The presentation was quite unique, being served in a mini wok / pot.

Duck Caponata
A unique roast duck recipe with broccoli, capsicum, shredded onions and basil. I really enjoyed the pizza here, quite different from other pizzas I've tried. Their dough was really very fluffy! Overall the taste was great!

Pineapple Lemon Melon Tea
We only need to pay $2.50++ for this drink as we ordered the $39.90++ set menu. This is their signature drink, a mixture of pineapple, lemon and melon inside, really special and refreshing ice tea! Must-Order!

Caffe Latte
The caffe latte here was too creamy for our liking. But it was quite a big cup!

Overall Impression: The service here was alright. The presentation of their food and drinks were considered quite good compared to other pizza places. Pizza is the main attraction here! Soup and Pasta were decent though. The serving size was quite substantial so you're sure to leave with a full stomach. Opt for the double rumble set meal as you get a pasta, a pizza, soup for two, and with a small pop-up drinks for two as well; a good deal in my opinion.

This place is quite small with limited seats. Do make your reservation earlier in order not to make a waste trip there.
