I arrived at 6.15pm and the place was already filled with quite many people. (Quite hard to take nice photos, got to be fast)

The square is a very big restaurant that can accommodate large groups. It is always full house during the 1 for 1 credit card promotion so do make your reservation at least 1-2 weeks in advance! The people here are mostly in very casual wear and more "Kiasu" type, very different from those people at 5 star hotel buffet. So you have to act fast before all the nice food are gone... Be prepared to queue for the cooked food for about 1-2 mins time. 

I'm quite impressed with the wide food variety and the quality of the food here! :)

Service here was quite good - plates were cleared regularly except 1 or 2 times were a bit long. Water were refilled promptly. The cooked food here were replenished quite fast but the desserts were replenished too slow. Some trays were empty for quite some time...

Fish Maw with Crabmeat Soup
The soup taste was very average from the first pot but after they replenished the new fish maw soup, wow the soup became very very nice! Maybe different chef cooked it thats why tasted very differently. The restaurant should take note of this - the quality have to be constantly good!

Salmon Chowder
This was my first time to see Salmon Chowder at a buffet as we usually only see Clam Chowder. I like the Salmon Chowder, can taste the salmon meat as well as the nice creamy soup!

Singapore Chilli Crab
I like the chilli taste here, the spiciness was just nice and the chilli sauce has a fragrant taste. But some part of the crab meat was quite soggy. The restaurant should take note of this point.

Roasted Duck
I really love their roast duck which has some light herbal taste. It will make you crave for more! This was very popular here, finished quite fast so please act fast!

Fried Fish with Black Bean Sauce
 This was another great dish here! Taste delicious!

Steamed Fish Fillet with Superior Soya Sauce
This dish was a tad disappointing. The taste was all very nice except the meat was quite tough. It should be very tender.. Otherwise it will be perfect! Hope to see improvement at my next visit!

No photo items: They still have cold cuts.. Other cooked food like Chicken Chop, Lamb Chop, Grilled Pork with tomato sauce (The meat was very tender-quite nice) Vegetables and Fried Noodles. They have Boncafe coffee and Bontea here.

Overall the desserts were very nice except the egg tarts, rasberry cake and rasberry bread pudding not so nice. The Chendol Agar Agar, Honey dew Melon Sago and Apple White Fungus are my most favourite, keep went back for more!

Afternoon Tea at The Pavilion (The Sentosa, A Beaufort Hotel - 2 Bukit Manis Road, Sentosa) No Reservation is needed

Visited on 30th Dec 2013 (Mon).  Afternoon Tea is available from 2.30-5.30pm daily. (3 Tier Stand + Free Flow of Premium Coffee/Tea)

Note: The Pavilion has changed the name to "Le Bar" from Oct 2015

Price: $32++ per person = Total bill of $37.66 (2 of us shared 1 set of High Tea)

The service here was average. The Pavilion is a relaxing and peaceful alfreso environment best for high tea session or some drinks/snack time and you can get to see Peacocks here! The high tea items were simple, light and nice.. If you're at Sentosa area, why not come down to The Pavilion to enjoy the resort style high tea!

New Year Eve Dinner Buffet at 10@Claymore (Pan Pacific Orchard, 10 Claymore Road) Reservation: 6831 6686

Visited on 31st Dec 2013 (Tues). New Year Eve Dinner Buffet with Free Flow of coffee/tea

Price: $98++ per person = Total bill of $230.69 for 2 pax.

If you're a dessert lover like me, you will like this place as they have very wide array of desserts!

They have a TV showing the live cooking in the show kitchen. It adds to the theatrics of the restaurant and guarantees the freshness of the dishes as they are prepared in front of our eyes!

Delighted to know they're serving Good Quality Tea here! :)

Overall the food was average except the Boston Lobster, which was really delicious! The minus point that i want to highlight is most of the meat here were not that tender (Drunken Prawn, Salmon from Plates of Treasure, Steamed Seabass, Duck Confit etc) If all these can be much tender, it would be perfect! Desserts were decent nice, but still not up to the standard of very nice. Hope the chef will improve in the area that I've mentioned.

Service here was quite bad. I must say most of them were not that attentive compared to other hotels. We couldn't find any staff at our area even before the crowd started. Try to assign a few staff at designated area to standby so that whenever we need anything, the staff can accede to our request promptly rather than we keep trying to catch their attention.
